Is Julianne Hough about to start a new chapter in her life?
“Dancing With the Stars” alum, 33, was photographed kissing a tall, tattooed mystery man one year after filed for divorce from her spouse, Brooks Laich, on the show.
A hearty embrace and a kiss welcomed Hough outside of a restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon before she went inside to pick herself some green juice and a brown bag of food for herself and her possibly new lover.
The mystery man and the professional dancer had a lively (and at times amusing) conversation while the dancer was speaking with another unnamed gentleman outside the building.
Keeping warm in a furry brown jacket, a sports bra, grey sweatpants, and slippers, Hough matched her outfit with her suitor, who dressed in a green T-shirt, a pair of loose rust-coloured trousers, and white shoes.
Although a source informed People in January that the two had merely been “friends for eight years,” the former “America’s Got Talent” judge has been linked to actor Ben Barnes, with whom she has been sighted on multiple occasions since April 2020.
After three years of marriage to Laich, 38, Hough filed court proceedings to dissolve her union in November 2020, five months after the couple declared their separation.
That same month, they released a joint statement to People magazine in which they stated, “We have lovingly and deliberately taken the time we have required to come at our decision to split.”
“We have a great deal of love and respect for one another, and we will continue to lead from our hearts as we have done so far. We respectfully beg that you continue to show compassion and respect for our personal information.”
The former NHL player has subsequently been dating CrossFit athlete Katrin Tanja Davsdóttir, who is also a former NHL player. During a romantic trip to Hawaii in August, they made their romance Instagram-official by posting a photo of themselves together.
The divorce between Hough and Laich has not yet been finalised. A representative for Hough did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MM.
