One day after Kanye West uncomfortably implored her to “run back” to him, Kim Kardashian filed papers to become legally single.
When the papers is signed by a court, it will decouple property and child custody concerns from a couple’s marital status, according to TMZ.
Restoring her maiden name and formally removing the “West” surname she shares with Kanye and their children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2, is also a goal for Kim, who filed for divorce from Kanye in February.
A few hours after he publicly declared his love for her at the Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, co-hosted by Drake, Kim Kardashian made the decision to end their marriage.
During the performance of his song “Runaway,” the musician, now known as “Ye,” improvised, saying, “I need you to rush straight back to me, specifically Kimberly.”
In November, we reported that she was seeing “Saturday Night Live” cast member, Pete Davidson, and she doesn’t appear to want to reconcile.
Their first public display of affection came when they were caught holding hands on a ride at Knott’s Scary Farm in Southern California following her hosting engagement on “Saturday Night Live.”
Sources said she was “acting like a teenager” at the time, and MM reported that. “She’s always chuckling. Pete has made her feel as if the clock has rolled back 20 years in the past several weeks. Clearly, she’s content.”
West and Vinetria made their first public appearance together last month, according to MM. Given West’s most recent attempt to reconcile, it’s not clear if the two are still dating.
‘Ye has tried to win back the mother of his children before, admitting that he made marital blunders while ranting on skid row before Thanksgiving.
“All I think about every day is how I get my family back together and how I repair the grief that I’ve created,” he stated in a Thanksgiving Day public prayer. “I’m responsible for my conduct,” I say.
When things were better, he also uploaded a picture of the two of them kissing.
