Lil Tjay Reportedly Cut His Show At Manchester Short After Trying To Fight A Fan

Lil Tjay made his way to London last week to headline performances in London, Birmingham, and Manchester as part of the European leg of his Destined 2 Win tour, which is currently in its final stages.

An unfortunate chain of events befell the rapper, starting with an incident following a gig in Southampton. He was arrested and charged with assault.

Despite the low-quality film, which was released on Instagram by No Jumper, it shows a large group of people around the New York rapper, who ultimately dusts himself down after ranting at the assailants and walks away, telling police officers in the area not to touch him.

Following a few days, at his performance in Manchester, a fan in the audience tossed a water bottle onto the stage.

An excerpt from the incident shows Tjay attempting to identify the aggressor and attempting to get them on stage so that they may be fought.

A supporter was also restrained by security and beaten in the face before being flung to the ground. Both instances were captured on video by onlookers.

Fans in attendance stated that the rapper abruptly halted the event shortly after, after just performing a 25-minute set.

It is yet uncertain whether or not charges will be filed against the rapper. In the past, the rapper had a few run-ins with the authorities.

Tjay was arrested in December 2020 on charges of marijuana possession, criminal possession of a firearm, and grand theft, among other things.

Apparently, the rapper was driving with four other people when a cop pulled them over for merging lanes without signalling. Upon investigation, the officer discovered four loaded pistols and a huge amount of pot in the car they were in.

Since his incarceration in 2020, the rapper has made significant strides.

His first song, “Calling My Phone,” featuring 6LACK, off his sophomore album Destined 2 Win, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 list, becoming both rappers’ highest charting debut and highest-peaking track on the chart in their respective careers. It was also Tjay’s first platinum-certified hit.
