Lizzo did not murder a fan by leaping off the stage during one of her performances.
On Wednesday, the “Truth Hurts” singer took to TikTok to refute a crazy claim that she crushed a fan by diving into the crowd during one of her shows.
“I’ve read a lot of terrible things about me on the Internet,” she explained, “but the one that concerns me the most is this story that I stage dove at a concert and murdered someone.” “Like that rumour… first and foremost, it’s a lie! I’ve never done a stage dive before.”
In the video, she even belly-flopped onto her bed to demonstrate that such a jump would be less-than-lethal.
“Are you seriously going to put that on my motherf–king name?” I know I’m huge, but I’m not that f–king big, bitch.”
“STOP THE,” she captioned the video. “Lies” is represented by the cap emoji.
It’s unknown where the rumours came from.
The 33-year-old singer of “Good as Hell” has never been bashful about her physique, frequently championing body acceptance and posting naked photos on social media.
“This year, I began conversing with my stomach. I used to want to chop my stomach off because I hated it so much, she revealed earlier this year, adding, I used to want to blow her kisses and shower her with praises. But it’s literally ME,” says the narrator.
In the meanwhile, Lizzo recently addressed COVID procedures on her Instagram account.
“It doesn’t matter to me who you are. You might be the nicest person in the planet. It’s possible that you’ll be vaccinated. You might get immunised four times. Please give me 6 feet if you see me. This s**t will resurface. COVID. And there’s a lot of sloppiness with personal space,” she said.
“Because that isn’t you, it’s just me, she said, and I’m not trying to catch anything.”
“Bitch, I don’t even want to catch emotions. Do you believe I’m attempting to catch COVID?”
