This month marks the ninth anniversary of the release of  K.I.D.S. (Kickin’ Incredibly Dope Shit), which is Mac Miller’s breakout 2010 mixtape.

Widely regarded as the late rapper’s breakout project, the collection features fellow Pittsburgh rapper Chevy Woods and boasts production from ID Labs and others.

As of now, the mixtape was available through mixtape websites and not on streaming platforms.

On Tuesday, Benjy Grinberg, the CEO of Miller’s former record label Rostrum Records, announced on his Instagram page that K.I.D.S. will be on streaming services later this year.

“On this 9th anniversary of the first tape that Mac and Rostrum put out together, I’m excited to announce that ‘K.I.D.S.’ will be available on all streaming services later this year!” wrote Grinberg, who doesn’t reveal when the project will hit DSPs.

“After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.”

This news arrives just under a month before the one-year anniversary of the day Mac Miller died of a drug overdose. He was only 26 at the time.
