Megan Thee Stallion Pulls Out Of AMAs 2021 Over ‘Unexpected Personal Matter’

Because Megan Thee Stallion will no longer be performing with BTS at the 2021 American Music Awards on Sunday, we apologise to all of our fans.

“I was so excited to go to the @AMAs and perform with @BTS_official, but due to an unexpected personal matter, I can no longer attend 😭😭,” the “Savage” rapper, 26, tweeted on Saturday.

“I’m so sad!” Megan Pete, whose true name is Megan Pete, went on to say more. My excitement is building as I anticipate performing #BTS Butter on stage with my band members very soon!

It has been claimed that she withdrew from the AMAs because of her buddy, Young Dolph, who was recently murdered, albeit she did not specify what the “personal problem” was.

After being regarded as “one of hip-most hop’s promising new talents in recent years” by The New York Times, Dolph was just 36 years old when he was shot and died on Wednesday while purchasing cookies for his mother at a bakery in his hometown of Memphis, Tenn.

Megan shared her sorrowful reaction to the news of Dolph’s death, whose true name was Adolph Thornton Jr., on Twitter after receiving the news about Dolph.

“I am sooo sick rn I am in disbelief! Praying for his family and friends ! Rest In Peace to my friend a true legend dolph,” the Texas native wrote to her 7.1 million followers.

Megan also shared a tribute to her late friend on Instagram, writing alongside a portrait of him, “Everybody that know me knows I play this man music EVERY DAY ! He was so genuine so real so kind to me and [my manager T. Farris] always !!! Rest In Peace to a real legend 💙.”

Megan’s representatives did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MM.
