Nicki Minaj Part Ways With Longtime Managers Blue Print And Maverick Management

Nicki Minaj has parted ways with longtime managers Cortez Bryant and Gee Roberson of the Blueprint Group and Maverick Management, sources confirm to MM.

The source says that the split was recent and “amicable.” Minaj does not yet have a new management team.

The 36-year-old hip-hop superstar released her fourth studio album, Queen, last year, and became the first female artist with 100 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last November.

However, an announced 2018 co-headlining tour with Future was postponed, with several North American dates still yet to be rescheduled.

Nicki also earned headlines last year for an altercation with Cardi B during New York Fashion Week and the controversial decision to collaborate with rapper 6ix9ine on the single “Fefe.”

Roberson and Bryant, co-CEOs of the Blueprint Group, have repped Minaj through the majority of her career, and have managed Lil Wayne, G-Eazy and Rich The Kid, among others. The Atlanta-based management group partnered with Maverick when the conglomerate was formed in 2014.

On Sunday night, Minaj appeared as a surprise guest during Ariana Grande’s headlining set at Coachella, but suffered sound issues during the performance. Minaj also appeared alongside G-Eazy as a guest on Chris Brown’s new single “Wobble Up,” released earlier today.

Reps for Minaj and Blueprint did not respond to request for comment.
