Nipsey Hussle’s funeral procession will give the rapper a chance to take one last victory lap around his beloved South Los Angeles.
Following the late emcee’s memorial service on Thursday at Staples Center, his funeral procession will cover a 25.5-mile path through South Los Angeles, according to reports.
Sources close to Nipsey Hussle tell MM that since the arena only fits 21,000 people, his family wanted to make sure the community he loved so dearly would get a chance to pay their respects.
Before reaching the funeral home in the Crenshaw district, the procession will pass by his “The Marathon clothing store”, near the corner of now named Ermias ‘Nipsey Hussle’ Asghedom Square, formerly known as Slauson And Crenshaw Avenue, where the “Victory Lap” rapper was gunned down on the evening of March 31. He was 33.
Multiple vigils have been held outside the store since Nipsey Hussle’s murder, including one that ended in a shooting last week.
