R Kelly is back on stage tonight in Illinois just a few weeks after he was dragged back in court accused of sexual abuse by various women and also locked up on child support related charges.

The singer took to his IG to announce that he was going to be in Illinois tonight and asked the media to take it easy on him.

He says this is the only way he is getting paid now after everything else fell apart following the renewed backlash on him from the decades of alleged sexual abuse on women mostly while they were underage.

This is coming fresh over his reaction that he thought his viral interview with Gayle King went well and he was considering a follow up adding that it had helped people see him from the correct stand point of events according to him.

The star remains released on bond with restrictions to his travels and his passport held by court.

According to his lawyer, the case he faces has no grounds and will fail as it is mostly double jeopardy and based on evidence that has before been denied in court.

They feel the champion of the women lawyer Avenatti did not follow court procedures in most situations broke the law while representing the women and handing over his so called evidence.

It is not clear what the court will rule on this matter at this point but if found guilty R Kelly could go away for a long time.

At least he is breathing a breathe of sigh after a fan settled his child support payments of $160,000 dollars and did not ask the singer for repayment.
