What a lovely display of devotion! An insider told Us Weekly exclusively that Adele and boyfriend Rich Paul complement each other perfectly.
Their romance is “in a fantastic place,” according to the source. The 33-year-old Grammy winner and 39-year-old sports agent “are very committed” and expect to be together for a very long time.
She’s overjoyed and believes she’s hit the lottery.
Adele and the Ohio native made their Instagram relationship official in September after being seen together at the NBA Finals in July. The two have reportedly “fallen in love extremely organically,” with the “Skyfall” singer saying she feels “so relaxed and secure” around Paul.
“Rich is a great guy with charm, intelligence, and sensitivity to spare, according to the insider. Additionally, he is a hugely successful person with a bright future. No selfishness or meanness can be found in his being. He always makes her feel special.”
It has “helped [Adele] feel sexy and confident” because of their “very cute” romance, according to the source.
In the past, Adele was married to Simon Konecki, but their divorce was finalized in March of this year.
Angelo, the couple’s 9-year-old son, lives with both parents. The “Chasing Pavements” singer was candid in a recent interview with Vogue about what went wrong in her marriage.
The British musician confessed, “I was just going through the motions and I wasn’t happy.”
“Neither one of us did anything wrong,” she explained. We didn’t do anything to hurt each other. It was simply, “I want my son to see how much I love and am loved by you,” that was said. It holds a great deal of significance for me.
Adele and Paul were friends before their relationship blossomed into something more. She described him as “always there” in an interview with the publication. My excuse is that I simply didn’t notice him.”
British Vogue interviewed the ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ singer, who added, “I dated before Rich, but they hated it. They’d get nervous if they saw me out in public with them. … But it hasn’t bothered him in the least. I don’t care who knows because it appears to be consistent and considerate. His greatness is well-known.”
Since Adele’s last album, 25 in 2015, fans have been impatiently awaiting her fourth. Friday, October 15 will see the release of the album’s lead single, which will be followed by the album’s second single.
Adele hopes that despite it not being a traditional divorce album, listeners will take away a valuable message from it.
“I wanted to explain to [my son], through this record, when he’s in his 20s or 30s, who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his entire life in the pursuit of my own happiness,” she told British Vogue.
“There were times when it made him extremely unhappy. In other words, that’s a real wound for me, one that isn’t going to heal any time soon.”
